Across all cities there are codes that blend into the background, the walls, the pavements and the street furniture. Some are in plain language, others are in actual code, however, all are for a select audience.
City Code, a new project, will explore these phenomena and draw upon the influence of Lee Friedlander’s book ‘Letters from the People’.
