Churchill Island lies off Phillip Island, which in turn lies in Western Port in Victoria, Australia, both are reached by road bridge. It was first surveyed by arriving Europeans in 1801. The Boonwurrong people may have visited Churchill Island for thousands of years before Europeans arrived.
