Retrospective 3-2002: Silent Street

You know how you visit other countries and they just seem so much more exciting than your home country? Well that, of course, happened to me at the start of my great Australian adventure, although this was not just a visit, it was a new life. The country is vast and will take some exploring.

One of my favourite local areas to visit is the Grampians National Park, so much to see and so dramatic. This is my first encounter with Silent Street, a narrow gorge that is at the start of a climb to the Pinnacle.
