I am exploring a small area of Swan Bay on the Bellarine Peninsula, called Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve, near the town of St. Leonards. The diverse flora, fauna and indeed landscape give me plenty of opportunities, including beach, forest & tidal salt flats.
The remnant forest, sometimes emerging from the sand, is some of the last coastal woodland to exist in Victoria and reaches down to the shore of Port Phillip on one side and Swan Bay on the other, across this peninsula.
