As told by Halpern herself, her work is “An arch in the shape of a face, leaning on its nose. To see something whimsical, surprising and delightful in the landscape is always inspiring”. Those that know Melbourne may recognise the DNA of this piece as Halpern’s most famous work is the bicentennial sculpture ‘Angel’ that is now located at Birrarung Marr by the Yarra.
