I might move off topic for a couple of weeks, as I have been concentrating on the final assignments for my first year at University, and thought I might share some things I have been working on.
So there I am, in people’s houses taking pictures of the third drawer down in their kitchen. Why? I had to come up with an idea for a Typology. It came to me in a flash of inspiration, I should have dismissed it and put it in the too hard basket. Anyway a couple of weeks later and I have a result.
Bernd and Hilla Becher, were best known for their Photographic Typologies in the 1950s and 60s, documenting industrial buildings in Germany and the USA and have influenced many photographers since. I have them to blame for my effort.

Interesting. And very typical third drawers!

Yep very typical. I was hoping for the more unusual, but the sample size was quite small.
