Waiting for the Ferry

Circular Quay, Sydney, NSW, Australia

I don’t know what sydneysiders think of their ferry services but as a tourist I think they are great. Integrated to the transport system and paid for using your Opal card, it is quick, convenient and most of all, fun. The views from the bay are great and you get to see a different side of Sydney.

The ferry workers are just so skilled at driving and docking the boats quickly and without fuss, the rope handling is second to none.

Circular Quay is like the hub of the system with all ferries starting here and with many other boats on the water it is constantly busy.

This shot was processed in Lightroom and converted to black and white using Silver Efex Pro 2.
